(NASDAQ:NTRA) has received confirmation that its Prospera Lung transplant assessment test has met coverage requirements from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS) Molecular Diagnostics Services Program (MolDX). The test, which helps detect acute rejection in lung transplant patients, will be covered under the existing Medicare Local Coverage Determination for Molecular Testing for Solid Organ Allograft Rejection. The decision is expected to increase access to the test, which has already been used by nearly 50% of the top 50 transplant centers.
