Apple Inc.'s iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max preorders are tracking stronger than consensus estimates, according to Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives. The product mix is heavily skewed towards these models, particularly in the US, China, India, and parts of Europe. Ives estimates that preorders in India were up about 25% YoY and stronger in China. He also predicts that iPhone shipments could be close to 90 million units in the holiday quarter. For the fiscal year 2024, Ives models iPhone unit sales in the range of 225 million units and rising ASPs.
