Rigetti Computing Wins Innovate UK Competition To Deliver A 24-Qubit Quantum Computing System To The National Quantum Computing Centre

Rigetti Computing, Inc. (NASDAQ:RGTI) has been awarded a grant by Innovate UK, funded by the National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC), to develop and deliver a 24-qubit quantum computer based on its Ankaa-class architecture to the NQCC's Harwell Campus. The system will feature advanced technology from Rigetti's 84-qubit Ankaa-2 system, including tunable couplers and a square lattice, achieving a 98% median 2-qubit fidelity and a 68 nanoseconds gate time. Rigetti's software development tools and Tsunamis control systems will be deployed with the system, which will be available over Rigetti Quantum Cloud Services.
