T-Mobile's Long-Standing Free Netflix Bundle Could Soon Start Including Ads
Portfolio Pulse from Rounak Jain
T-Mobile US Inc. is altering its 'Netflix On Us' perk to include ads starting Jan. 24. Customers with the Netflix Basic benefit will be upgraded to the Standard plan with ads. T-Mobile's Go5G Next plan subscribers will also get access to Hulu (with ads), in addition to Apple TV+ and MLB.TV. Netflix has introduced an ad-supported tier that allows downloading of movies and shows, which will be ad-free, across all 12 regions where this tier is available. This change comes after Netflix's price increase in October 2023.
