Starbreeze Entertainment has obtained a license from Wizards of the Coast, a division of Hasbro, Inc., to develop and publish a game based on the Dungeons & Dragons IP. The game, codenamed Project Baxter, is set for release in 2026 and will feature co-operative multiplayer, a Games as a Service model, community engagement, and cross-play on all major platforms. It will be produced using Unreal Engine 5. The partnership aligns with both companies' focus on cooperative and community-driven experiences.
