Ocean Power Technologies, Inc. (OPTT) has entered a contract with WildAid and Caribbean Law Enforcement to combat illegal fishing using uncrewed technologies. OPTT will provide an Uncrewed Surface Vessel equipped with an integrated quadcopter aerial drone. The technology will help law enforcement agencies and conservation organizations protect marine life from illegal harvesting and ensure the sustainability of critical ecosystems.
