Dan Defossey, a former Apple Inc. executive, has found success in the restaurant industry in Mexico City. After leaving his role as the head of marketing in education for Latin America at Apple, Defossey co-founded a Texas-style BBQ restaurant, Pinche Gringo, in Mexico City. Despite initial challenges, the business has grown into Grupo Chilangogringo, a group of seven establishments with revenues exceeding $9 million in 2022.
