Bitcoin Tops $27,000 After PCE Data; Pepe Emerges As Top Gainer

Bitcoin (BTC) traded above $27,000 on Friday, while Ethereum (ETH) traded below the $1,700 mark. Core PCE prices in the U.S. rose by 0.1% month-over-month in August, the least since Nov. 2020. Pepe (PEPE) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Maker (MKR) was the biggest loser. The global crypto market cap rose to $1.08 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 2%.
