SK Telecom Co Ltd (NYSE:SKM) has unveiled a new 'AI Pyramid Strategy' to become a global AI company. The strategy focuses on AI Infrastructure, AI Transformation (AIX), and AI Service. The company plans to expand its data center business globally, launch a next-generation inference AI chip, and develop LLM customized to telcos and enterprise markets. It also aims to integrate AI into its core business areas and launch the world's first Korean LLM service. The company expects AI-related investment to triple to 33% over the next five years.
