Apple Inc.'s new iPhone 15 Pro, which features a titanium design, has been found to be less durable than its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro, in early drop tests. The titanium sides of the iPhone 15 Pro disperse the pressure of impact to the front and back glass, leading to spiderweb cracks. The stainless steel band of the iPhone 14 Pro absorbed much of the impact, retaining the phone's overall structural integrity. The iPhone 15 Pro's display and camera module were also affected by the drops.
