This comes after Circle's announcement that USDC will be available for developers and users on the NEAR Blockchain Network. Polkadot USDC is issued on Polkadot Asset Hub and can be traded, borrowed, and lent on parachains like Centrifuge, HydraDX, and Moonbeam.
