The French government has claimed that the device exceeds established standards for electromagnetic radiation and has requested a halt to iPhone 12 sales unless the issue is rectified within two weeks. Apple has responded by providing in-house and third-party lab testing results to demonstrate compliance with regulatory limits. However, the company's tech support staff has been instructed not to volunteer information about the issue to customers. Other EU countries, including Belgium and Germany, have also begun assessing the iPhone 12's radiation levels.
