Portfolio Pulse from Anan Ashraf
Tesla Inc has started its own diesel-powered train shuttle, the 'giga train', for employees at its Gigafactory in Berlin. The train can transport 400 people per ride from Erkner railway station near Berlin to the factory. The train will run about 60 times a day, five days a week, and will also serve the general public free of charge. Tesla acquired the track from Deutsche Regionaleisenbahn Group in January 2022.
