Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman has expressed concerns over China's economic situation, stating that the country's economic woes make it more dangerous to global security. He noted that China's GDP growth has now tapered to 4% and the country is trying to invest more than 40% of the GDP, which is not sustainable. He also mentioned that China's government has been resistant to reforms that might make its growth sustainable. The iShares MSCI China ETF (NASDAQ:MCHI), an index tracking Chinese stocks, fell 1.31% in premarket trading.
