Nucor Corporation (NYSE:NUE) has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for 250 megawatts of renewable energy from Sebree Solar, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources (NYSE:NEE). The project, located in Kentucky, will have a capacity of up to 400 megawatts and is set to begin construction in Fall 2023. The steel for the project will be sourced from Nucor Steel Gallatin.
