'Razzlekhan' And Husband Plead Guilty In Multibillion-Dollar Bitcoin Laundering Case

Ilya “Dutch” Lichtenstein and his wife, Heather Rhiannon Morgan, have pleaded guilty to charges related to the 2016 Bitfinex cyberattack, which resulted in the theft of approximately $4.5 billion worth of Bitcoin. Lichtenstein admitted to being the original hacker and to laundering the stolen Bitcoin. The Department of Justice (DOJ) has seized over 94,000 Bitcoin, amounting to approximately $3.6 billion, the largest seizure in DOJ history. An additional $475 million connected to the hack has also been seized.
