Rumors suggest that a new PlayStation 5 model, the CFI-1300 series, will run cooler than current models and won't require liquid metal cooling. The new model will reportedly feature a 5nm APU, which should produce less heat than the 7nm of the launch models, and the 6nm of the CFI-1202 series. The new console is expected to be compatible with a detachable disc drive and is rumored to be released later this year at the price of the Digital Edition.
