Uniti Group Inc. (NASDAQ:UNIT) has signed a long-term contract with a global internet provider to offer long-haul dark fiber connectivity across two key U.S. routes. The deal, worth approximately $35 million, will connect 12 cities across the Midwest and the Southeast, and includes over 7,000 fiber strand miles. Uniti will also add a new presence in a Detroit data center and establish a new Point of Presence in Cleveland.
