Tesla Recalls More Than 17,000 EVs Over Camera, Seat Belt Issues

Tesla Inc has issued a recall for over 17,000 vehicles due to issues with the forward-facing front camera and front-row seat belts. The camera issue affects 1,337 Model S, X, and Y vehicles made in 2023, while the seat belt issue affects 15,869 Model S and X vehicles from 2021 to 2023. Tesla will inspect and correct or replace the parts at no cost to the customers. Tesla's total recalls to date are over 5 million, less than General Motors Co and Ford Motor Co, each of which has recalled over 200 million vehicles.
